African-Inspired Fashion Show to Hit Runway with A “Natural” Twist

[Columbia, S.C.–September 13, 2018 ] In one week, the EdVenture Children’s Museum, will transform into a runway show and celebration for African-inspired fashion and natural hair at Kinks & Kouture.  The event will take place on Saturday, September 22.

Kinks & Kouture comes to the Midlands as the first runway event from Adai Quaye, Creator of Avahscloset, after a 12-month break. “Creatives need a break sometimes… and I needed to revamp, rebrand, and redesign new looks,” she said.

In partnership with Kim Richard, CEO of Natural Roots, LLC, the pair will create an unforgettable night with Neek, of Hot 103.9, as the host. Kinks & Kouture will also feature:

  • Preview of Avahscloset fall/winter collection
