New t-shirt design offers encouragement during Breast Cancer Awareness Month

[Charleston, South Carolina] In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Be Encouraged will release a limited-edition t-shirt design from the “Be Encouraged Logo Tee” Collection.

The Breast Cancer inspired logo tee also commemorates the 5th Anniversary of Be Encouraged, led by Marvis President, the originator. In 2015, the Charleston native began to use to social media to share words of encouragement with his family and friends. His messages were reposted and eventually transpired into a conscious movement that resonates a Godly zest of motivation through daily inspirations—and a new t-shirt collection.

“When I started this movement, someone suggested that I put ‘Be Encouraged’ on a t-shirt. But I decided to wait five years before I shared my brand image,” President expressed.

During the height of the Covid-19 Pandemic, President debuted his t-shirt collection to spread positivity and encouragement to those in need.

“I needed to first make sure that those two words resonated with my family, friends, and followers. I wanted to ensure that through each moment of their lives, whether good or bad, they remained encouraged,” he added.

The Spring collection featured a logo tee and dad cap in black, white, and four additional colors inspired by African American Greek-letter organizations.

Pre-sales for the Breast Cancer logo tee will begin on August 31. The cost is $20 (X-Small- 3XL) and $25 (4XL-5XL). The pink colorway of the original “Be Encouraged Logo Tee” will also be rereleased for the same price; Shipping and contactless deliveries in Charleston and Columbia will also be available.

A percentage of the proceeds will be donated to R3, Inc. to host a “Free Wash Day” during Breast Cancer Month.

“The Charleston-based non-profit has worked effortlessly to make a positive impact on at-risk communities. But they are also very supportive of other organizations working towards a good cause. I am very excited to join their fundraising efforts to offer a free washing at Laundry Matters.
