Love Rants Now Streaming

[Charleston, SC—November 22] Love Rants , an ingenious collaboration from Charleston’s Matt Monday, Max “Benjamin” Berry, and TraeWhatItDo, comes as no surprise to fans.

After a private listening session on November 21st, fans wasted no time posting about the EP on social media. Over thirty people gathered at Truphonic Recording Studios for an exclusive listen.

Some of the invited guests included: KJ Kearney, Founder of H1GHER LEARNING, Inc.; Kelly Rae Smith, Music Editor of Charleston City Paper; Alex Collier of Eastward Music; Wolfgang Zimmer, Producer; The Time TNL Radio Show, and Ill Vibe|The Tribe.

And, what was expected to be an in depth conversation about Love Rants, left everyone speechless.

“People tend to think they know our sound,” Monday said referring to him and Berry. “But we’ve grown a lot as musicians.”

Berry went to add, “The goal was to build a sound that blended the music that inspires us. We wanted to combine Justin Vernon’s vocals, Metro’s drums, and David Ruffin’s passion. Our intent was to make something that sounds different than what they’ve also expected…we did by collaborating with Trae.”

Love Rants will be available as a digital download in December. The full track list includes:
