The Traveling Tailor Makes Debut as Author

[Glen Burnie, MD–June 10, 2020] David President, Jr., known as the “Traveling Tailor”, has just made his debut as an author. Today, he released his first self-published book titled “The Power of a Suit.”

Book Cover

In his book, President shares personal testimonies and tips on how to enhance your confidence and gain respect—while having the professional etiquette to match. “When you wear a suit, people view and treat you differently, he says. “Your peers respect you more and you are likely to flourish both professionally and personally.”

President, a native of Charleston, SC, is a self-taught fashion designer who specializes in custom-made suits, tuxedos, and other garments. His success as an entrepreneur, however, has been driven by his faith, family, and diligence.

“The Power of a Suit” is an inspirational guide for students, teachers, entrepreneurs and business professionals. But, President challenges readers from “all walks of life” to use his book as a self-assessment tool. “I wrote this book to share my story and to encourage others to self-reflect.”

The book contains the following six-chapters:

  1. The Epiphany
  2. The Interview
  3. Making a Lasting First Impression
  4. Dress for Success
  5. Stepping Out on Faith
  6. Manners Will Take You Where Money Won’t

Presidents hopes that readers will apply the principles of each chapter to ultimately increase their personal value. “The power of a suit is real,” he expressed. “It positively impacted my life and afforded me great opportunities to excel and grow.”

“The Power of a Suit” is now available for purchase  www.dpattire.com/shop/thepowerofasuit.

On Saturday, June 14, the President Group, LLC will host a virtual book-release with Courtney Scott, Founder of the New Normal Styling Company, in the Washington DC/Maryland area. The interview will begin at 7pm and will be live on Facebook at www.facebook.com/thetravelingtailor1 .
